The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payment of group salaries whilst keeping accurate and up-to-date time and attendance data for all Newly Weds Foods sites: Ossett, Corby, Shirebrook and Banbury and supporting European payroll activities for up to 1000 employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the processing of 5 UK payrolls

• Be the main point of contact with third party payroll agents for European payrolls

• Month-end accruals

• Processing P11Ds

• Process P46 car submissions

• Internal reporting

• Ordering of all payroll stationary i.e. payslips, P60’s etc.

• Raising purchase orders for Childcare Vouchers

Person Specification

• previous experience of running a UK payroll is essential

• Experience of manufacturing/shift patterns is desirable

• Experience of working in a confidential environment

• Excellent Microsoft skills, but in particular, Excel

• Good understanding of pension auto-enrolment rules

• Excellent attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills

Additional Information:

This is an office based role. Working hours are 08.30-17.00 (Monday – Friday), with 1 hour lunch break, however flexibility is required depending on business need.
