The Role
•To work as a Site Services Operative as part of the Site services team, to support the hygiene manager to improve standards throughout jigsaw foods offices, utilities and canteen areas with accordance to cleaning schedule.
•Following appropriate training, you will undertake these duties, correctly, safely and efficiently.
•Always ensuring these duties are completed in line with Company policies, including but not limited to, PPE, Food safety, allergen management, Health and Safety, ‘clean as you go’ and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Key Responsibilities
•Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice, Food safety and allergen procedures are followed at all times.
•Ensure you operate ‘clean as you go’ and carry out any other hygiene duties as directed by your manager.
•To read and understand instruction (written and/or verbal), follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) accurately.
•To ensure that documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
•Actively work towards a zero level of complaints for your area and work to a ‘Right first time’ policy.
•To work to Company objectives of minimal waste, maximum efficiency, conserving energy where possible and if appropriate switching machines off when not in use.
•Understand and follow cleaning instruction cards
•Carry out post cleaning checks
•Monitor and restock soap/sanitiser/barrier cream within toilets, canteens and NPD kitchen
•Monitor and restock gloves, hair nets, beard snoods etc. dispensers within reception, changing rooms and warehouses.
•Restock laundry lockers and place soiled overalls in laundry bags ready for collection
•Check cleaning and personal protective equipment to work correctly at all times
•Provide PPE for site visitors as required
•Monitor and carry out weekly stock control of cleaning equipment and PPE
•Provide support and assistance to the hygiene Team during customer audits
•To undertake training as required.
•The above responsibilities and duties are not exhaustive, as required and directed by your manager to accept changes in responsibility or other duties suitable to knowledge or training.
Person Specification
•Good communication skills in order to both understand technical cleaning requirements and also to report any issues as they arise in a clear manner
•Well organized to ensure stock is maintained and ordered on time
•Attention to detail to complete relevant paperwork properly
•Positive attitude is crucial to promote outstanding hygiene culture on site
•Be able to work well within a team.
•Always work safely – consider safety of yourself and others.
•Achieve a high standard of punctuality and attendance

•Physically fit to be able to lift heavy loads
